Learners Put Their Knowledge to the Test

Four of our Grade 11 learners recently stepped out of the classroom and into the hot seat at the IIE Varsity College High School Quiz 2025 — and what an experience it was!
Representing our school with pride were:
Deran Mudaly (11A)
Arlaiyah Naidu (11A)
Nerishka Manohar (11D)
Simryn Sawrimoothu (11F)
Armed with quick thinking and fast fingers, they competed against 46 learners from different schools using the popular Kahoot app. The quiz kept them on their toes with questions ranging from Geography and History to Science, Sport, and Entertainment.
A special mention goes to Nerishka Manohar, who secured an impressive 24th place overall. While our team didn’t advance to the next round, the energy, excitement, and laughter they shared made the experience unforgettable.
The best part? They’ve come back buzzing with ideas and suggested hosting a quiz of our own at school. Who knows — this could be the start of a brand-new tradition that challenges and excites even more learners!
