Our first major gathering under this initiative is the Alumni Homecoming, a reunion and family fun day marking Heather's 45th year. It runs on 8 and 9 August 2026, split by era: alumni from 1981 to 2005 return on the Saturday, and 2006 to 2025 on the Sunday, both from 11h00 to 15h30, with food stalls, entertainment, and space for the whole family.
Heather's motto, "By Concord and Harmony," is what the Circle is built on. It asks something simple of everyone who's ever called Heather home: stay in touch, and come back when you can.

Heather Secondary School has always measured itself by the people who pass through its gates, not just the years in between. The Heather Circle is how we keep that connection alive after matric.
Join The Heather Circle
The Heather Circle exists to keep alumni in touch with the school and with each other: former learners, former educators, and the families who supported both. It's a standing link back to Heather, not a one-off event. Membership is currently open to only to Heather Secondary matriculants. This verification step keeps the community genuine and limited to those who share this history.
