From Heather to Cairo

Heather Secondary School proudly congratulates Mrs Niksha Bositsumune-Dhanlall, our Hindi educator, on her selection to represent South Africa at the Africa Regional Hindi Conference in Cairo, Egypt, on 8–9 February 2026.

This prestigious event, hosted by the Embassy of India, brought together leading Hindi scholars and educators. Mrs Dhanlall’s invitation highlights her dedication and impact in Hindi education.

At Heather Secondary, over 50 learners study Hindi under her inspiring guidance at both First and Second Additional Language levels.

We celebrate this remarkable achievement and wish Mrs Dhanlall every success as she represents our school and country with pride on the international stage.
