Year in Review : Representatives 2025

RCL Representatives

The Representative Council of Learners (RCL) plays a vital role in giving learners a voice and promoting leadership, responsibility, and unity within the school. Each year, dedicated learners are elected by their peers to represent the learner body, uphold school values, and serve as a bridge between learners, educators, and management.

The 2025 RCL has shown commitment, teamwork, and initiative in organising school events, encouraging discipline, and fostering school pride. Their leadership reflects the true Heather spirit, one of service, respect, and harmony. We commend our RCL members for their hard work and for setting a positive example for all learners.

As Chairperson of the RCL, it has been an honour to lead and serve our school community. From events to initiatives, we have strived to make a difference.

To my fellow learners, as you step out into the world, it is easy to get caught up in what others think, but don't let that silence your voice. Don't be afraid to take risks, make mistakes and learn from them. You are capable of greatness. As Kim Namjoon of BTS once said "Find your name and find your voice by being yourself"

So let us go out there and make our mark. RCLs Unite!

Blood Representatives

The Blood Reps played a vital role in promoting community service and saving lives through their annual blood drive. These dedicated student leaders organised donation events, raised awareness about the importance of giving blood, and encouraged peers and staff to participate. Their efforts supported local hospitals and inspired a spirit of compassion, leadership, and civic responsibility within the school community.

Being a Blood Representative has been an incredible experience. We attended a workshop where we learned about blood types, who can donate, and how donating blood helps save lives. Our teachers in charge, Mrs Devcharran and Miss A. Shaik, guided and supported us throughout the day.

At the workshop, each of us shared a speech or poem in front of other learners, which was both exciting and fun. As peer promoters, we now use this knowledge to educate and motivate others, knowing that our efforts can make a real difference in people’s lives. This role has taught me responsibility, leadership, and the importance of giving back to the community.
